Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Bacteriostatic Water Europe collects, uses, stores and shares your personal data when you use bacteriostaticwatereurope.com or place an order, and the rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who Is Responsible for Your Data
The data controller is New Model Solutions Ltd, 15F Empress Avenue, Ilford, IG1 3DE, England, trading as Bacteriostatic Water Europe. For any privacy question or request, email support@bacteriostaticwatereurope.com.
2. What We Collect
When you browse the site we may collect:
- Products viewed, to display recently viewed items
- IP address, browser type and approximate location, used to estimate shipping and VAT and for security
- Cart contents, held in a cookie while you browse
When you place an order or create an account we collect:
- Name
- Billing and shipping address
- Email address
- Phone number
- Order history
- Account login details, if you choose to create an account
Payment card details are entered directly with our payment provider and are never stored on our servers.

4. How Long We Keep It
Order records, including your name, email, billing and shipping details, are kept for 7 years to meet tax and accounting obligations. Account data is kept until you delete your account or ask us to. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of the analytics provider, currently 14 months. Other personal data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for.
5. Who Has Access
Only authorised staff and contractors involved in order fulfilment, refunds and customer support can access your data, and only for those purposes.
6. Who We Share It With
We share the minimum data needed with the following categories of service provider, each of which processes it on our instructions:
- Payment providers: your payment details are handled by our payment processing partners for the purpose of taking payment and preventing fraud. We do not store card numbers.
- Warehouse and shipping partners: your name, delivery address, email and phone number are shared with our EU fulfilment warehouse and the carrier so your order can be delivered and tracked.
- Klaviyo (email): your name, email address and order history are used to send transactional emails and, if you have opted in, marketing emails. See klaviyo.com/legal/privacy.
- Google Analytics: collects usage data via cookies, subject to your cookie consent, to help us understand how the site is used. See policies.google.com/privacy.
- Hosting and IT providers: our website host and technical service providers, for running and securing the site.
We may also disclose data where required by law or to enforce our terms. We do not sell your personal data.
7. International Transfers
New Model Solutions Ltd is established in the United Kingdom, and some of our service providers (including Klaviyo and Google) process data in the United States. Where personal data leaves the European Economic Area we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified, and otherwise on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. You can request a copy of the relevant safeguards by contacting us.
8. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site, keep your cart and complete checkout. These do not require consent. Analytics and marketing cookies are set only if you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer. You can also block cookies in your browser, although this may prevent checkout from working.
9. Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have your data deleted, where there is no legal reason for us to keep it
- Restrict or object to processing, including objecting to direct marketing at any time
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal
To exercise any of these rights, email support@bacteriostaticwatereurope.com. We respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your EU country of residence.
10. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption across the site, restricted access to order data, and payment processing handled entirely by our payment providers so card details never touch our servers.
11. Children
Our site and products are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page with the date it took effect.
